U.S.A. VISIT TO. AUSTRALIA. (United Press Association—By Electric T elegrapli.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, October 29. The Australian Press Association has interviewed Mr Cullum, the tennis official, at Philadelphia, who said that lie had again discussed the matter with Mr Ware, who lias charge of the sending of tennis teams abroad, and he finds the position cannot he changed. None of the elder American- players are available for an Australian trip, while the designation of'the younger players would involve taking them away from coljege. Fie says: ‘Wo know how advisable it would he to send a team to Australia, for we would like to have Australia challenge the American zone for the Davis Cup, which is now pretty hare, but we must leave the matter for the season 19301931, when it will receive our most sympathetic consideration.”
