GORE RACING CLUB. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) GOBE, October 80. The Gore Racing Club’s spring meeting was concluded to-day in fine weather. The track was good and there was a, largo attendance. The totalisator handled £14,689, against £8,454 for the corresponding day last year, a total for the meeting of £35,797i against £24,698 last year. Wantwoocl Hurdles.—(2) Antrim Boy 1, (3) Nincompoop 2, (1) Beauty Bight 3. Won by half a length; four lengths.; Time 3.2 4-5. Gordon Hack Handicap.—(B) Royal Flower 1, (2) Jock o’ Hazeldean 2, (5) Some Toffi 3. Won by a nose; a nose. Time 1.28. Otama Trot.—(9) Maybird 1, (3) Tarndale 2, (5) Nelban 3. Won bv one and a half length; thirteen lengths. Time 3.33 2-5. Waikaka Handicap.—(2) Money Mine 1, (3) Tembroncy 2, (1) Royal Saxon 3. Won' by half a head. Time 1.56 3-5.
Novice Handicap.—(2) Abbeville 1, (3) Captivate -2, (4) Impertinence 3. Won by three and a half lengths; cue length. Time 1.15. . Won by a head; a neck. Time 1.49. FLEMINGTON NOTES. MELBOURNE, October 20. The Adelaide steeplechaser Enclosure has arrived at F'lemington with a view to competing In the jumping events. Looran, Antiquated, Pulkami, Murree and two juveniles, in charge of James Wilson, have arrived from Bonny Vale. While schooling over fences at Flomington this morning, Le Procyon fell and broke his neck.
