:• 7" . SYDNEY, ' Oct. 30.;. The trial of Jock Garden, Reeve, and others, charged witn conspiracy to molest and intimidate free labourers in connection with the timber workers’ strike, concluded abruptly at the Criminal Court to-day.
The Foreman of the jury announced that the jury was of the opinion that ..there was not. sufficient eviden.ee to warrant a conviction. Tlie whole of the men were, then acquitted and discharged.
