A Conference to-day. of representatives of 'North Canterbury, Wairoa, Picton, Nelson, Westland-, 'Puller, ]nangalnia and Grey Hospital Boards, approved unanimously of the Group Scheme for more effective treatment of tuberculosis. Under the' scheme patients from all the districts concerned will be accepted for treatment and maintenance at North: Canterbury Board’s institutions, contracting towards paying the actual cost, as well as pro rata interest charges on the capital value of the land and buildings. ’ Separate and combined management -committees will be setup.
