' : DESCENDANT OF SIR F. DRAKE. NEW YORK. October 23.Regarding the Atlantic flight, later reports indicate that W. F. Diteman’s plane, is a Barling low-winged monoplane*. named “The Golden Hind.’ The aviator claim's to be a descendant of Sir' Francis Drake, He left after a lengthy, but secret, preparation. The Barling Coy. builders of the plane, stated that it is not fitted for such a flight. The weather expert at Roosevelt Field stated the flight will be very dangerous.
