BUTTER AWARDS

AUSTRALIAN DISSATISFACTION. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this dav at 10 a.m.) LONDON, October 22. Australian butter authorities are amazed at the judging at London Dairy Show of different judges of saltfed and unsalted butter. There is no complaint against the former but the low marks awarded to the'bulk of unsalted, especially ifor flavour, reduced a large proportion of the entries below Australia’s lowest export standard. Many exhibits received only 20 out of 50 points for flavour.

It is pointed out that New Zealand did not compete this year, owing to dissatisfaction with the judging of last year.
