RUGBY, October 18. The Prince of Wales will represent the King at the Armistice Day service at the Cenotaph this year. The service last year was the occasion of the last' public appearance of the King before his illness. It was not anticipated that the King would attend the service this year, ’ AT OLYMPIA. Over ninety mnkes of motor-ears, of which nearly sixty are from other countries, are exhibited at the greatest motor; show' yet held, which opened at Olympia in London to-day. The comprehensive nature of the exhibition is its most notable feature. ' There is a wide variety in chassis, in capacity and number of cylinders in engines, in body work and in price.

Prices range from about £3500 down to a little over £IOO. In the small car market, in which British manufacturers have always held a prominent place, there is a large exhibit, and makers are confident that the popularity of cars of from seven to twelve horsepower is undiminished On the other hand, there is no falling off in demand for luxury cars. It is, however, in the medium priced cars fvit hsix-cylinder engines of about fifteen horse-power that the greatest development is recorded in the present show.
