REPORTS. • “ ' ; From Surgeon-Superintendent, Westland Hospital, reporting patients., on August 31st numbered 31: admitted during September, 26 males, 23 *fer males—49; total treated, 45 males, 35 females—Bo. Discharged cured, 21 males, 14 females; relieved, 1 male, 2 females; died, 2 males ;• total discharged, 24 males, 16 females—4o. Remaining in hospital at 30th Sept., 21 males, 19 females—4o. In hospital, for over tw r o months, 6 males, 2 females.— Received.

The Chairman cf House Committee (Mr Davidson) reported conditions satisfactory.—Received. It was resolved to procure 50 chicks. Mr Evenden reported on work in progress at medical officer’s residence at Rumara. —Received. rt

Accounts amounting to £640 4s 7d were passed for payment. The Treasurer , reported receipts £1912 17s 3d; payments £ll6l 3s 2d; credit balance £Bo4.—Received.

The next meeting was fixed for November 18th. I '

It was resolved to make application to the Minister for the grant of £2OO as promised for maternity hospital repairs. The Board reset at 9,45 p.m.
