THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES.
THRIFT AND OWNERSHIP. The “Own Your Own Home Campaign” inaugurated in Christ, hurch on Saturday, may be taken as an exhortation, especially to those with limited incomes, to practise thrift, a virtue apt to suffer from the growing sentiment that the present day'ahd its enjoyments are all that matter, and that the future can be left to take care of itself. A reasonable man recognises that his firs* duty to his family is to provide a settled home and to own It as soon as he can. —Christchurch Press.
