CLOSING COALFIELDS. A GRAVE DANGER. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 11. A grave danger to the public services is threatened by the decision of the Engine-drivers and Firemen’s Association at C' ’ssnock to close down two unassociated collieries, Millfield Greta and Hill End, on Sunday. Three other pits will’pis ) vobably be closed at the .sanr time and coal supplies will shrink almost to tiie vanishing point. This decision, indicates a definite split in the union ranks.
