WEDDING BELLS

The wedding was solemnised recently at the Catholic Church, Ngahere, bv the Rev. Father O’Meaghen. of Grace, third daughter of Air and Airs Goodall, Blackball, to AYilliaiu Thomas, eldest son of Air and Airs W. Fisher, of'Nc'"on Creek. The bride who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of pink georgette and lace with hat to match. She carried a -beautiful bouquet off frensias and maidenhair fern. Aliss B. Goodall, sister of the bride, acted ns bridesmaid and wore n frock of blue georgette and hat to match. Mr G. Fisher wns best man. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence of the bride’s aunt, Mrs Todd, of Ngakere, where the breakfast was partaken of and the usual toasts honoured; the newly married couple left J ll ter by the express for Wellington. The bride travelled in a frock of fawn repp.

The bridesmaid, Miss Beatrice Garvey, sister of the bridegroom, wore a frock of . pale green celene.se with licit he capo collar and uneven flared skirt with crinoline hat trimmed with flat petals in soft shades underneath the brim. She carried a ,posv of primrose abntilons and maidenhair fern. Mr R. Duggan was best man. After the ceremony the gnosis were entertained at Herb. Moore’s Tea Rooms, where the usual toasts were heojowrod. The newly-married couple left later for Christchurch where the honevmooon will l o spent. The bride travelled in a smart ensemble of green reversible celenese with millinery to tone.
