Arrangements have been completed for approval by the Air Ministry, by which aeroplanes, as well as ships will be classined as “A I” at Lloyds. NORTH ISLAND TOUR. WELLINGTON, Oct. 8. It was stated.by one of the flying party, after landing, that the beach, which was followed till Paekakariki was reached, provided a good emergency landing ground almost anywhere. At Pakekakariki, the machines turned inland, and from Porirua followed the railway line. Perfect landings were made by all the machines. There was a large and representative attendance to welcome the flyers, including the Defence Minister, Mr Wilford, who in a short speech, congratulated the men. Sir James Allen said all looked forward to the tour developing what must come in New Zealand—a great air service. Mr Cowper replied.
