WORTH THE RISK
Rumour hns it, that at a recent hotel fire on the West Coast, a boarder risked bis life in an endeavour to save something which he considered of great value. Just as the ceiling was about to collapse he dashed inside. and after an anxious couple ol minutes appeared outside bolding a bottle of ale in each hand. A .spectator who witnessed the act, enquired why he had taken such a great risk. Tie brave one holding up the two bottles of “Westland” Ale. promptly remarked it was well worth while, and he added that he would go much further to procure a bottle of ale brewed by the Westland Breweries.—43.
