Miss Cecily Lascelles, of the Royal Club Melbourne, in the first round defeated Miss Brown 4—2, and entered the third round, her opponent in the second round scratching. HAGEN AND KIRKWOOD. ' EXHIBITION MATCHES IN THE DOMINION. WELLINGTON. Oct. 7. It has been arranged for Walter Hagen and J. H. Kirkwood to play an exhibition golf match at Miramar on February 26th. 1930. It is understood that Kirkwood has communicated with other centres also suggesting further exhibition matches.
