(Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) SHANGHAI, October 7. Russian women were among the prisoners captured by the Chinese during Manchuli engagements. They were wearing full Soviet military uniform. Soviet cavalry attacks continue vigorously daily, but failed to dislodge the Chinese defence lines. Aircraft activity is assuming greater proportions on both sides.
