WHITE NEW ZEALAND LEAGUE PROTESTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 2. The president of the White New Zealand League (Mr J. W. Ransom) received to-day the following telegram tfrom the League’s Auckland secretary: —“Thirty-five Asiatics arrived in Auckland yesterday. We have protested to the Government. ‘•Will you please re cord your protest also?” It was stated that the Wellington branch, would also submit,its protest. - • In an interview to-day, the Minister for Customs said he had received a telegram from the League and enquiries'were being made by the Department. He hoped to be in a position to-morrow to reply to the League.
