BADLY BURNT
USED BENZINE BY MISTAKE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. R. Stevenson, single, aged 35, an employee of tlie Public Works Department used benzine in mistake for kerosene when lighting a heating stove in. the office at Warkworth, and was thrown some distance, enveloped in flames. Practically all his clothing was burnt off his body before other cmplojees could help. He was removed to Warkworth Hospital in a serious condition., AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. R. Stevenson, who was burned at Warkworth through lighting a stove with benzine instead of kerosene, died at Warkworth cottage hospital.
