PARIS, September 25. In the French open golf championship of seventy-two holes, Compston Aubrey and Booker tied with 283.. They will play off to-morrow. L'.DTES CHAMPIONSHIP. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 23. A drawn contest between teams representing the South Island an North Island marked tho opening of the New Zealand ladies golf championship this morning. Eight singles determined the issue and each side won four.
