DOMINION DAY
SYDNEY CELEBRATION
SYDNEY, Sept. 23
The New Zealand Association in New South Wales celebrated Dominion- Day by tendering a luncheon to the Premier of. New South Wales Hon T. Bavin, and the Consular Corps. The President, Dr Purdy, proposed the toast of “The Dominion,” to which the New Zealand Government Agent, Mr W. R. Blow, responded on behalf of the Government ,and he gave a few facts illustrative of the wonderful progress made .by New Zealand since her first colonisation davs.
Hon Mr Bavin and Sir Henry Bradden also spoke eulogistic-ally regarding the Dominion, and then urged a greater inter-change of visits and ideas of the peoples of the two countries.
