The effect of resolutions was :—(1) That the burden of the land tax proposed is inequitably large. (2) That, relief in taxation should be granted taxpayers who own land which, in tlie opinion of a properly •constituted tribunal, is. unsuitable for subdivision. (3) That the penalty of the special tlik should not take effect till March 31, r: 1931, in'order to giye. landowners tlie, opportunity of subdV viding and Celling portions of their holdings.
