Donald) against the, introduction o 4 the Gaming Amendment Bill. • . The chief, spokesman, Rev. J. J. North, said the bill was objectionable ; because it permitted'the publication of dividends which would encourage ((the small bookmaker and placed temptation in the way of postal officials. 1} Replying, Mr, B. Donald said;he had every confidence in his officers,and if he had not lie wouldn’t have given his 1 election pledge to support the bill ■ this year.
