Land and Income Tax Amendment Bill and Land and Income Tax (Annual) Bill were introduced by Gover-nor-General’s message and read a first time. The House in Committee of Supply considered the Department of Industries and Commerce estimate (£8,301) which was passed.- after a lengthy debate.
