AN ACCIDENT

IN RIMU DREDGE BUSH

An accident happened in the hush on the Rimu Dredge ground this morning to Mr William A. Shadholt, an employee. He was engaged at the winch drawing a log when it jambefl and the rope flew round and struck him, breaking his left leg about three inches al>ove the knee. cap. The injured man at once received attention, Dr Baird being called to the scene, and he was then taken to Westland Hospital for further treatment.
