The death took place on Saturday morning tf Mrs Floral Bruerton, wife of Mr J. Bruerton, Murray -Street, Greymouth, and the eldest daughter of Captain F. W. Cox. Deceased, who had been an invalid for nine years, was 38 years of age. She was .born in Nelson, and was a pupil of Nelson Girls’ College. . She worked for some years in Australia, where she was married to Mr Bruerton, coming later to New Zealand. ' Besides her husband, the late Mrs Bruerton leaves one daughter, Doris. She is also survived by her mother and father, three sisters and two brothers, all of Greymouth.
