NEW FLYING BOATS

LONDON, Sept, 12.

In response to the Air Ministry’s invitation, the Blackburn Aeroplane Company hn ! s. submitted the designs of a new type of flying boat, carrying fifty passengers on a non-stop flight of one thousand miles. It is believed that the Ministry intends, ti use such craft in London-South AfricaAustralia services,- but it is not at present known how many will be ordered. They , will be fitted with . six RollsRovce engines of three thousand horsepower.
