M.r Snowden and Mrs Snowden arrived to-day at Sandringham, where they will stay as the guests of the King and Queen until to-morrow. It is stated that the visit df the Chancellor of the Exchequer is informal, and not in the capacity of ActingPrime Minister. Mr Ramsay MacDonald leaves Geneva to-night and reaches Paris tomorrow. It is expected that the British Prime Minister will fly from Le Bourget to London. Speaking to-day at a luncheon given by journalists attending the meeting of the League, in honour of the members of the League Council, Mr -MacDonald referred to the naval disarmament negotiations between Great Britain and the United States. He said: “We have our difficulties, of course; we have things of a most complicated character to settle but the will of the people is all powerful and in the end must have the last word where grave issues of peace are being determined by sincere statesmen.”
