The Auckland Trotting Club’s earthquake relief meeting was held at Alexandra Park to-day in fine weather. -There was a large attendance. The track was slow, after rain in the early morning, but excellent racing was witnessed. The tote receipts .. were £35,522*.
Karamea Handicap.—i(l) Rangitero 1, (3) Peterson 2, (4) Sweet Memory 3. Won by three-quarters of , a length. Time' 3.42 3-5. Murchison Handicap.—(2) Enawali 1, (3) Gang Awa 2, (8) Holiora 3. Won <by a length; one and a half lengths. Time 3.34 3-5. Westport Handicap.—(4) Can|iel 1, (5) Waikaha 2, (7) Goldman 3.- Won by a long neck; two and a ' half, lengths. Time 4.47 3-5. Seddonville Handicajp.—(2) Mountain Dell 1, (6) liimosa .2, (5) Polly’s Picture 3. Won By three-quarters o$ a length; two lengths. Time 4.44 -1-5.
