Warwick Stakes:—Limerick 9.0 1, Mollison 8.10 2, Wi.nalot 9.3 3. Ten started including the New Zealanders, Aussie and Nedda. There was a splendid start. Mollison led the field to the turn,, with Parkwood always handy, and the ne.vt nearest attendants were lieonui and Black Duchess, but Limerick made a fast run upon entering the straight. Mollison then began to tire, and the popular Limerick finished full of running against the .wind,, winning, by three-quarters of a length, with Win a,lot the sa*me" distance, off third and Pharlop a close fourth. Then came Park weed, Black Duchess and Aussie, while Nedda was last. The crowd gave Limerick a great reception the choiring lasting fov many minutes. Such a scene will long be remembered, the champion having done the “hat -trick.” He-has * won the a same event for three years, and he .crowned his performance by downing the mighty Mollison, Aussie and Winalot.
