SPANIARD’S GYROSCOPE.

NEW YORK, August 29

An Aerial Exposition is expected ■at Los Angeles, when five Blimp machines and an endurance plane which has been up for a week, will fly to meet the Graf Zeppelin. ft is also hoped that Senor Juan De Lacierva, the Spanish inventor, will fly his gyroscope to meet the dirigible.

At Cirvaj he amazed the crowds with' his performances in the gyroscope, showing a high speed, a. stationary position in the air and an ability to drop on a bull’e-eye mark td in Los Afigeles. For the first time in public, he hooked flying planes from the air, held them for a short period, and then released them.

The Marlborough Aero Club’s second batch of trainee pilots was tested te-day by Major Isitt, Director of Air Services, for a class ticket. Eight candidates took the air.
