She swung for a moment over Canadian territory above • Windsor (Ontario) . Then she swung back over Detroit and she followed the Lake Erie shore line towards Cleveland, where she was awaited expectantly by at least one hundred thousand t isitors.
A WORLD TOUR IN 21 DAYS. (Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 29. The Zeppelin has completed the world voyage, arriving at Lakehurst this morning. She covered 20,060 miles in 21 days 7-1 hours. The Los Ange 1 es-Lakehurst leg took 52 hours.
ECKENEE’S ASSISTANT. ECHO OF THE WAR. NEW YORK, Aug. 29. Captain Lehmann, who since the war has been the principal aide to Eckener. refused to speak of bis war-time services, but asked if he had bombed London during the war, replied gravely: “1 did several times. Once I brought home a Zeppelin with four hundred bullet holes in the fabric.”
