FLOOD DAMAGE
A HEAVY SLIP. (By Telegraph—Press Association). CARTERTON, August 21. Public Works Department advise Wairarapa Automobile Association that a heavy slip on the Featherston side of the Rimutakas has completely block ed the road. Public Works estimate it will take two days to clear. Heavy rain is still falling. All the rivers are very high. '
