The following private cable has been received by Mr Sloan Sutton, Secretary of the New Zealand Golf Council, I'rom Mr C. D. Morpeth, who is in Adelaide, practising for the Australian Championships: “Competitors are disappointed with course. Shaw and McIntosh are in good form. I am playing quietly and unsuccessfully.” .
