Panama Hotel, Walter Leonard Clark, .• aged 23, on going outside, asked him f-f' for a loan of a shilling. The man prqduced. a purse, whereupon Clark grab- ’ r bed it, and made off, but was subse- .!\ quently arrested. He was ’ fined this morning a matter of £5, with an alternative of a month. He had been v ’ before the Court two months’ ago for a !v. somewhat similar offence.
