LONDON, Aug. 15.
The Commissioner of Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland, specially discussed the fact that die Duke and Duches of York last Sunday attended an ambuiance demontsratioiv at Forfar, and there presented medals. Tne Rev. Mr Fraser, of Govan, said that lie felt it, keenly that two such well-beloveds should do such a thing. They ought to inform the Duke and Duchess, that it was an'insult to Scotland that should not be repeated. Ultimately the .Com.mision contented itself with a general resolution regretting the continued flouting of the «abb i':h, and testifying that- the Fourth Commandment did not permit of exceptions, even among the great ones of the land.
