BRITAIN TO THE CAPE.

LONDON, August 14
• The Daily Express states that the Imperial Ainvays scheme for a regular air service between London and the Cape is now complete, and merely awaits the ■ result of negotiations with Governments of the countries over which the . planes will; pass. The service, which is of eight thousand miles, is the longest in the world.,There will be one-weekly trip in each direction, in whicihi will occupy nine days, and it will follow the England-to-India route as far as Egypt, where it will turn southward along the Nile for a considerable distance. ,
Flying boats will be used for the Mediterranean, and -also on part of the African section, making four changes of machines.
