It. is hoped to i-efloat the vessel on Monday or Tuesday. *1 lie steamer Apanui, which’ took a salvage party to White Island, will remain to assist in the salvage work. The wind during the week-end has been very strong from the south-west and this may retard the refloating of the vessel.
