Thousands were addressed by Admiral Hindenbtirg and the Minister of the Interior, Herr Severing, who paid a triuiite to Hindenhurg, “our leader in Germany’s darkest hour, whose life and work shall lie our symbol for the future.” Communist attempts to cause trouble were checked by the police.
