WELLINGTON, Aug. .3. Samuel John Carnbross, alias Albert •Prosser, 47, was given t two' months’ imprisonment by Justices .at Petone, for., being intoxicated while in charge of a car. He license was suspended for two years. ESCAPEE ARRESTED. AUCKLAND, Aug. 3. William Ingram, the prisoner who escaped from the tram at the Auckland platform last Saturday, was arrested at Wellsford last night by Constable Ryan, who had tracked him .across the Kaipara Flats. The escapee was comfortably tucked up in.bed in a gum-digger’s hut. Prior to bis escape the prisoner had been arrested on a charge.. of false pretences. y.
