The Christchurch Hunt Club meeting was held to-day, the weather being perfect. The attendance was good, and the course in fair order. The totalisator registered £13,879, compared with £14,025 last'year. Results:— Kennels Hurdle Handicap.—(l) Gay Jim 1, (4) Exide 2, (2) Barrington 3. Won by six lengths; eight lengths. Time 3.3 2-5. The Warwick Farm races were run in fine weather, but the course was a bit heavy. Aussie’s defeat after a thrilling finish caused a sensation.
