At the weekly sale- yesterday at Addington there was a small entry of store sheep, chiefly of nondescript lots, and a fair entry of fat sheep. The quality for the most part was good, and values were a slight ad-
vance on the previous week. Extra’ heavy prime was realised up to 53s 9d, heavy prime was 42s fid to 475, prime 37s to 425, medium 32s to 365, light 23s to 31s, extra heavy ewes to 47s 7d, heavy ewes 34s to 425, prime 28s to 335, medium 20s to 275, good hoggets 30s to 34s fid, medium •24s to 295. / •
There was a larger yarding of beef, with a slight decrease in values compared with last week for medium sorts. Primest quality was on a par with the previous sale. Extra heavy steers made from £2l to £23 10s, one pen of show bullocks £2G 12s fid, prime handy weights £lB 10s to £2O 10tj, medium £l6 10s to £lB ss, light £l4 to £ls, plain £l3 to £l4, heavy heifers £ls 10s to £l7, prime £l2 10s to £l4, medium £ll to £l2 10s, light £8 to £9 15s, heavy cows £ls to £lB 17s 6d, prime £l2 10s to £l4 15s, plain and aged ATfi 10s to £7 10s The market was irregular for pork pigs, baconers setting at a slight advance on late rates. .Prime choppers realised £5 to £7 lls.fid, and others from 50s, light porkers 3fis to 47s fid, heavy 50s to 58s fid, average 7.Vd to
8d per,lb; baconers £3 10s to £4 5s
heavy bacon £4 10s fid to £5, aveiage fi‘-d to -7d per lh. There was a slight increase in store pig values.
