Another upheaval in the shipping industry is vnreatened owing to a feud between two -rival seamen’s organisations. The Victorian Branch of the Seamen’s v.nion decided that members should refuse to sail wi ll members of the Australian Seamen’s Union. Secretary Neill stated tlnsc men who subscribed their names to the rival Association for registra 1 ion would lose em ploynicnt. and if the owners insisted upon employing them the vessels would he he’d up. The decision is effective immediately.
