THREAT AGAINST PRINCE. (United Press Association—By Electric Te'egrapb—Copyright). (Received this dav at 9. a.m.) LONDON, July 26. . A message from Nice states that if Prince Louis does not return to Monaco within a fortnight to carry out his promises of reform, a referendum will instantly be hold on the question of his abdication, and the formation of a Republic allied to France. This decision was reached at a fiery meeting of members of Parliament, a majority of whom declared that the Prince had evaded the delegation sent to Paris to meet him.
The Treasury was empty and the Casino was bleeding the town to make large dividends.
