1 KVERYBODYS PICTURES. v GLENN TRYON IN “HOW TO HANDLE WOMEN ” TO-NIGHT *’ Ho\v to Handlo Women,” a Uni-versal-Jewel comedy starring Glenn Try on, will be shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. Tryqfr/f'who is remembered as the star of the great hi,t, “Painting the Town,” and other screen comedies, is cleverer and funnier than ever : before. One of the newest stars< in filmdom, his original \ form of comedy is rapidly leading him to a place at the very top of the ladder of public popularity. “ How to Handle Women” directed by William Craft, is said to be the best vehicle that Universal could have selected for Tryon’s type of portrayal. Studio executives -• selected the story, written by Craft and Jack .Foley, Ifrom a large number written by some of the most capable screen writers in Holly-' wood. The story is that of -it! smalltown newspaper cartoonist wfio, in order to impress the girl he love's-, assumes the identity of a'Prince Heneryx of Volgaria. With high 'pressure salesmanship and his own cartooning, he tries to sell the peanut crop of Volgaria to American bankers for a large J sum of money. ; His success with the l girl as the result of this diplomatic coup is something that must be seen to, be appreciated. The clever plot and the humorous character of the bogus prince ruling a peanut kingdom fits Tryon perfectly. Marian Nixop, as the leading lady, is, an admirable heroine for Tryon. Miss Nixon’s charming personality appears to greatadvantage in this picture. A topical and comedy will also be shown. On Friday next “ None But the Brave.”
