Arising out of mass picketing disorders at Hudson’s yards, cabled on Saturday, the police to-night raided the'Trades Hall here and they arrested Jock Garden (Secretary of the Labour Council), J. Culbert, M.L.C., (Secretary of the Timber Workers’ Union); W. Terry (tlie Union’s organiser); C. Reeves, and M. P. Ryan (members of the Dispute Committee); and W. Patou (of the Ironworkers’ Union). All were charged, with conspiracy; They were admitted to bail of £156. Tho arrests have caused a stir in industrial circles. .
