JONES DIVORCE
HUSBAND’S WIN.

At Reno, Lloyd Jones, of Sydney, and formerly of New Zealand,' was granted a divorce, behind locked, doors, by Judge Bartlett. , The plea of the wife (a New Zealander), for separate maintenance, was refused.* % ■ The . Judge rejected the evidence that the wife presented of “another woman.” The reason for the denial of maintenance was the husband’s showing that while he - possessed half a million jfdqllars, he had already given his'wife four, hundred thousand dollars, including stock in the'business of David Jones, Ltd., Sydney. There was no contest over the custody of the child, Patricia, aged ter, years, who, with' her mother, is ,in London;ji. < •; ', ' Jones will be permitted to see the child whenever he desires.
