TO-DAY’S TEST. AUSTRALIAN SIDE WEAKENED. (Australian Press Association) BRISBANE, July 19. All eyes are on the match to-morrow between the All Blacks and the Australian reps. Mr McLeod states the New Zealand team lias much improved, and that it will fight desperately bard to prevent Australian winning the rubber. The New Zealanders are being billed throughout Brisbane ns “ the world’s greatest footballers.” Four of i the Australians. Ross, Towers, E. Ford, and Palfrey man, who played in tbe first test match will be unable to play to-morrow. THE TEAMS. The Australian team will be composed of ten New South Welshmen, four Queenslanders, and one Victorian. The team will be as follows: Full-back: Westfield. Three-quarters: Mobie, Strutridge, King, and Crossman.* Five-eighth: Lawton (capt.) Half : Malcolm. Forwards: Breckenridge, Ford, Loudon, Hamalainen, Finlay, Cerutti, Bonis, Thompson. Mr McLeod, referring to tbe rail accident yesterday, said that all the men came through the smash unharmed. They found plenty to talk about and after it there was no more sleep. They were, however, comfortable compared with the unfortunate passengers whose carriages were turned over, compelling them to walk about shivering till the dawn, with a white mantle of frost all round them.
