The chief officer of the Mexico, previously a skipper of the Kobenhavn, considers when the Kobenhavn drifted and passed Tristan, an explosion had occurred in the engine room situated aft, blowing out the stern post. Istliat the Kobenhavn sank near Tristan for three hours. It is inexplicable why tlrey bad failed to put out. He presumed it was the first time they saw the sailer. Christensen accepts the theory that the Kobenhavn sank near Trustan where the sea is very deep. He believes the cadets were taken oflV
