A message from Boston states th.at Joseph Sheedy, president of United States lines has announced the construction of two new liners will commence early in 1930. They will be modelled after the Leviathan, but both will be larger. The new vessels are expected to be completed within three years. Thej' will be 956 ft. long with a displacement of 56,000 tons and will accommodate 4,000 passengers. Sheedy stated the company’s policy will be to add one ship per annum to the fleet.
