GERMAN DOCTOR'S- EXPERIMENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association). (Received this day at 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 17. Doctor Von Ehrenthal, Director of Kothen Paper i Technical. Institute, Germany, on behalf of the Australian and New Zealand Investment Limited, carried out experiments in making paper from. New Zealand hemp. He reports it is better than the usual pulp from wood, and the grain equals the better quality manufactured from, linen rags. It is suitable for copper plate printing, paper for bank notes and fine. note paper and tissue cigarette paper, aiid could be used for improving medium paper from eucalyptus pulp.
