SEA LEOPARD CAUGHT
ON WELLINGTON BEACH. By Telegraph, Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 17. A rare visitor to Wellington, a sea leopard, was found on tlie beach in Evans Bay, near the Power House this morning. It was nearly fullgrown and appeared to he quite uninjured, but hungry, as it was moving restlessly about, and opening its mouth at the approach of human beings.
A good deal of interest w-as taken in the unusual visitor until its departure for the Zoo on a motor lorry. The sea leopard has been seen about the harbour several times during ilie mist fortnight hut this is tho first time that it has been noticed ashore.
